Home|Entreprises|The second call for projects 2022 of the Business Partnership Facility is launched

Are you a company with an idea for a project that contributes to the achievement of sustainable development goals? The Business Partnership Facility can provide you with financial support to make it happen! The deadline for applications is 20 October 2022.

The BPF supports sustainable and innovative business projects led by Luxembourg or European companies, with partners (companies, administrations or civil society) based in developing countries.

This is co-financing in the form of a grant. It can reach to up to 50% of the total budget of the planned project, with a maximum of 200 000 EUR.

How are projects supported by the BPF selected?

Projects are selected through a two-stage call for proposals. Firstly, project leaders complete an application form. Interested companies must demonstrate that their strategy includes respect for human rights, social and environmental standards and good governance. They must also give a brief presentation of their project. Successful applicants are then invited to submit a detailed proposal for their idea.

Several elements are considered in the selection process: the contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, the innovative character, the partnership with an entity from a developing country and the added value that the BPF co-financing will bring.

What is the deadline for submitting your application?

You have the possibility to submit your application until 20 October 2022. Successful applicants will be notified in December and will have until March 2023 to submit their detailed proposal.

The BPF team is also available to answer your questions: bpf@luxdev.lu.

The BPF is initiated and financed by the Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Action of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce.
